Equilibrium Psychotherapy is rooted in Madison — our office at 1806 Seminole Hwy sits just off the Beltline (US-12/18), making us accessible from every quadrant of the city. From the east side, take the Beltline west to the Seminole Hwy exit; from the west side, head east on the Beltline to the same exit. Free on-site parking makes arriving stress-free. Madison is one of only a handful of cities in the world built on an isthmus, including cities like Seattle, Auckland, and San Sebastián.
From Middleton, head south on Century Avenue or Greenway Boulevard to pick up the Beltline (US-12/18) heading east, then take the Seminole Hwy exit — the whole drive is typically 10–15 minutes. We welcome clients from Middleton for in-person sessions and offer telehealth for days when the commute isn't practical. Middleton was named the "Best Place to Live in America" by Money Magazine in 2007.
Fitchburg is one of our closest neighboring communities. From most of Fitchburg, simply take Fish Hatchery Road north or hop on the Beltline west to Seminole Hwy — most clients arrive in under 10 minutes. Fitchburg is home to the Nine Springs E-Way, a 900-acre network of wetland preserves, trails, and natural areas that stretches across the city's northern border.
From Sun Prairie, take US-151 south into Madison and merge onto the Beltline (US-12/18) heading west, then exit at Seminole Hwy — roughly a 20–25 minute drive. We also offer telehealth for added flexibility on busy days. Sun Prairie is the birthplace of Georgia O'Keeffe, one of America's most celebrated artists and one of my personal favorites, known for her iconic paintings of the American Southwest.
From Verona, take Verona Road (US-18/151) north toward Madison and merge onto the Beltline heading east, then exit at Seminole Hwy — approximately 15–20 minutes door to door. The commute from Verona into south Madison is one of the easier cross-community drives in the region. Fun fact: Verona is home to Epic Systems, one of the largest private healthcare software companies in the world, whose sprawling campus draws visitors for its whimsical architecture and themed buildings.
From Monona, head west on Broadway or Monona Drive to connect with the Beltline (US-12/18) heading west, then take the Seminole Hwy exit — the drive is typically 10–20 minutes depending on your starting point. Fun fact: at just over 3 square miles, Monona is one of the most compact cities in Dane County, and its lakefront parks along Lake Monona offer some of the best sunset views in the Madison area.
Distance is never a barrier. All of our therapists offer secure video telehealth sessions for anyone in Wisconsin. Whether you're in Milwaukee, Green Bay, La Crosse, or a rural community anywhere in the state, you can access the same level of care as our in-person clients — from the comfort of your own home.
Telehealth is covered by most of the insurance plans we accept, including Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Dean Health Plan, Security Health Plan, Medicare, and BadgerCare.
