MY APPROACH

No matter where you are on your journey my goal is to create a space that fosters growth and healing for you and/or your partner. With a compassionate client-centered approach, I help clients explore and understand the complexities of their emotional and relational lives. I incorporate aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based Therapy techniques to empower my clients to develop healthier patterns and achieve lasting change. Together, we will identify your goals, strengths, and shared meaning to support you in the life you want to live.

MY STORY

I completed my undergraduate degree from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. During that time, my passion for becoming a therapist grew with the idea of helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges.

To further my knowledge and skill-set, I moved to Madison to pursue my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. Through my education and clinical experience, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of the complexities that affect mental health and relationships, equipping me to offer compassionate, evidence-based care. I work with individuals and couples with a variety of concerns, although I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, burnout, relational difficulties, and life transitions, using a trauma-informed lens.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and being outdoors. I also love to travel, and the opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives. Helping others is a passion that extends beyond therapy; whether through professional work or personal connections, I am always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
